A new 6 month contract opportunity is now available for an experienced Revenue & Billing Officer with exceptional communication and customer service skills, to join our large finance team at our Corporate Head Office.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing the revenue for our business unit through financial administration processes. Your primary focus will be on Medicare payment reconciliation, end of month billing as well as maintenance or clients' accounts.
Your proactive approach, high attention to detail and ability to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders will aid your success in this busy position.
Your primary responsibilities will include;
Completing monthly billing for clients, brokerage agencies and direct debits Reviewing and lodging monthly Medicare claims and CW unspent Funds Processing client movements including admission, discharge and leave Processing refunds and exit payments in accordance with the established procedures, Government guidelines and timeframes Reconciling Medicare payment statements and adjusting any variations Generate brokerage statements and prepare unspent balance calculations Monitor and respond to Shared Mailbox Promptly and accurately managing the day-to-day accounts To be successful for the role, you will have:
Experience in a similar position within Aged Care (highly desirable) Accounting Qualification or similar (desirable) Proven experience using software systems and online portals including Procura, Axapta, Medicare Online Claiming Excellent customer service, communication skills and problem solving skills Willingness to obtain a Police Check What we can offer you as an employee of Catholic Healthcare
