Revenue Accounting Specialist Council is seeking to appoint a permanent full time Revenue Accounting Specialist to contribute to Council's success.

The position provides specialised revenue support to the organisation by analysing revenue data, modelling rates, utilities and special charges, review infrastructure charge notices and agreements, and ensure all revenue is raised in accordance with policy and legislative obligations.
About you: Strong data comprehension and high level organisational skills Self-starter, drive improvements and have a high sense of urgency and commitment to quality and accuracy in a fast-paced environment Local government experience in rates and revenue and can interpret and apply legislation to financial and revenue policies and procedures, ensuring regulatory compliance Experience in analysing, modelling, and interpreting financial and revenue impacts on the business If this sounds like you, then apply today! You will bring: Tertiary qualification in accounting/business/finance or other appropriate discipline and/or substantial experience in rating, revenue and budget preparation within a diverse organisation.
Advanced skills in problem-solving, planning, analytics, and prioritising to achieve concurrent deadlines.
Demonstrated ability to collaboratively engage stakeholders.
Sound communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills.
Proficient keyboard skills experience using Microsoft Office Suite (eg.
Power BI and Excel) and operating corporate business systems.
