About the role Join our dynamic team and take charge of the revenue assurance function. You'll excel in revenue recognition, streamline billing processes, and provide insightful reporting and analysis. Your expertise will ensure impeccable accuracy in reporting and billing, paving the way for timely invoice payments and financial excellence. What you'll be doing Conduct reporting and analysis to drive insights Reconcile complex accounts to ensure accuracy Manage month-end tasks, including journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting Collaborate with internal stakeholders across the business Communicate effectively with clients to address their needs (Preferred) Leverage prior experience with SaaS platforms Utilise intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets Perform weekly revenue and ARR reporting Oversee client billing processes Manage and reconcile revenue and deferred revenue monthly Maintain and optimise the revenue management system Partner with Sales and Customer Success teams to ensure accurate and timely revenue reporting Who are we looking for? What you bring to the team: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance 2-3 years of experience in an analyst role, or a strong foundation from a top-tier accounting firm Experience in a SaaS business environment (preferred) Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets Strong problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail Adaptability and comfort with change Enthusiasm for process improvements and efficiency Proven ability to meet deadlines consistently Proactive and self-motivated approach to work Why join Sonder?
