About the role
As the Project Foreman/Leading Hand at Revelstoke Building Solutions Pty Ltd, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the successful execution of construction projects in the Kingston TAS 7050 region. This full-time position requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work to our clients.
What you'll be doing
Manage and supervise a team of construction workers to ensure the timely and efficient completion of projects Coordinate with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure project goals and timelines are met Oversee the day-to-day operations of construction sites, including monitoring progress, managing resources, and addressing any issues that arise Ensure that all work is carried out in compliance with relevant safety regulations and company policies Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, helping them develop their skills and expertise Collaborate with the project management team to identify and implement process improvements Hands-on work required occasionally What we're looking for
Extensive experience in a foreperson/supervisor role within the construction industry Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering high-quality work Thorough understanding of construction techniques, materials, and equipment Familiarity with relevant building codes, safety regulations, and Australian Standards, and the ability to ensure compliance on site Ability to read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and specifications Strong organisational and time management skills Carpentry qualification favoured, but not essential About us
