Your new role: Based at the corporate office in Penrith, this role reports directly to the Group Human Resources Manager. In this pivotal role, you will be part of a passionate and driven HR team in a position that encompasses a full strategic and operational remit. Predominantly responsible for the Return to Work and WHS portfolio, this role will also involve assisting the HR team with a range of tasks and duties.
Main Responsibilities: Manage end-to-end workers' compensation claimsLiaise with injured employees, managers, insurers and medical and rehab providers to manage injuries, monitor claims and ensure optimal progressImplement and monitor effective return to work plansManage all related Workers Compensation administrationProvide advice to managers on compliance and legislation in regards to Worker's Compensation and WHSUndertake WHS investigations and participate in WHS Committee meetings across the GroupCoordinate and investigate Public Liability claims with our claim's management agent, broker and insurerProvide detailed and accurate reports on claims and costs for managementPerform a variety of HR tasks and general administration duties in relation to recruitment, training and development Your experience:Previous experience in a similar RTW/HR-orientated role.A strong understanding and working knowledge of current Workers' Compensation legislation.A positive, assertive and compassionate approach as you focus on rehabilitating injured employees.Great communication skills and attention to detail.Good organisational and administrative skills.Return to Work certification.
