What we're looking for: This position is responsible for high volume, end-to-end management of workers compensation claims. With your ability to exercise empathy as well as resilience, you will provide timely and efficient claims and injury management to facilitate a safe and durable return to work experience of our injured employees.
The role: Ensuring effective case management of all Workers Compensation ClaimsUndertaking early intervention to ensure the case management plan effectively meets the needs of the relevant parties, while monitoring costs.Managing effective WC rehabilitation and case management, with emphasis on early intervention and return to work.Ensuring effective accident/incident investigations and risk assessments are conducted in a timely, impartial and outcome focused manner.Assist in workers compensation weekly payments, Insurer Wage reimbursements and monthly reconciliationAssisting in determining cover according to relevant legislation and case law by obtaining appropriate information from the staff member, health care provider(s), and supervisorProviding leadership of the WC function, ensuring management of insurances and costs and the provision of effective case managementTaking responsibility for the effective WC and rehabilitation management nationally.
