The Role:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Village Manager to lead the operations of a premium retirement village located in Northern Gold Coast.
You will be responsible for the overall management of the village, ensuring smooth daily operations, high-quality resident services, and compliance with industry standards.
This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on leader who excels in building community connections and delivering service excellence.
Key responsibilities include:
Leadership & Operations: Oversee all village operations, ensuring alignment with company values and standards.
Lead and coordinate the village staff, ensuring smooth and efficient delivery of services.
Resident Services & Engagement: Maintain strong relationships with residents, families, and staff.
Oversee the provision of key services such as maintenance, cleaning, and emergency response, fostering a positive and engaged community.
Financial Management: Collaborate with senior management to prepare and manage village budgets, monitor income and expenses, and ensure all financial operations are conducted within budgetary guidelines.
Compliance & Safety: Ensure the village complies with relevant legislation, including the Queensland Retirement Villages Act.
Oversee the safety and security of residents and staff, maintaining emergency procedures and compliance documentation.
Community Engagement: Work closely with resident committees and sub-groups to plan and participate in community events and initiatives that enhance the resident experience.
The Candidate:
We are looking for an individual with demonstrated experience in retirement village management or a similar environment, coupled with strong leadership and communication skills.
The ideal candidate will possess:
Proven experience in managing budgets and financial operations.
Strong leadership and staff management capabilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with various stakeholders.
In-depth knowledge of Queensland Retirement Villages legislation.
A proactive and professional approach to delivering exceptional service.
