Base pay range $100,000.00/yr - $125,000.00/yr Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct an immediate search for a Retirement Plan Manager to join a growing tax and accounting firm serving medical practices in Chicagoland. This hybrid role offers the flexibility to work from home and collaborate on-site in the north Chicago suburbs. Empower medical practices to attract and retain talent with a competitive retirement plan. As the Retirement Plan Manager, you'll be a strategic partner, guiding plan sponsors, employees, and internal staff through the intricacies of their plans. Whether it's choosing the right fit, ensuring compliance, or educating participants, you'll be their go-to expert. RESPONSIBILITIES: Oversee all aspects of retirement plan design, implementation, and administration for clients with under 100 participants. Manage a team of 2-3 retirement plan specialists and ensure their continued development. Provide expert guidance on compliance, regulations, and industry best practices. Educate clients and their employees on plan features and benefits. Stay informed of the latest retirement plan trends and legislative changes. QUALIFICATIONS: 4+ years of experience managing a caseload of small to mid-size defined contribution (DC) plans, including 2+ years of direct leadership and mentorship of a team. Deep understanding of retirement plan design, compliance testing, and year-end reporting. Proven experience in preparing 5500 forms from start to finish. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with clients and internal teams. Data-driven problem solver with strong analytical and organizational skills.
