ABOUT THE ROLE We currently have a vacancy for a Part-Time Retail Training Partner to join our team for 3 days per week.

We're searching for someone who'll thrive in a team who supports our overarching team members and mission.REQUIREMENTS OF THE ROLE:Facilitate induction/role orientation training sessions for new retail employees and assess competence at completion of the trainingProvide on-the-job coaching and development interventions for retail personnel where the line manager requires additional supportIn consultation with the National Workforce Development Team Leader, partner with key stakeholders across Salvos Stores to develop training packages and modules for business initiatives identifiedIn consultation with National Workforce Development Team Leader, liaise with training partners to identify training opportunities in order to build capability across Salvos Stores retail teamsFacilitate training programs for employees and volunteers as directed by National Workforce Development Team LeaderLead the regional roll out of national Projects and ProcessEvaluate learning activities with key learning recommendations reported as requiredReview practices in facilitating the Workforce Development experience and recommend improvementsCompile training reports for Line Managers detailing training activities and anomalies as requiredCo-ordinate and manage regional training calendarMaintain and update training records in the LEARN learning management systemWork collaboratively with retail store, area and regional managers to determine priorities and develop integrated solutions that deliver key outcomesABOUT YOU:Minimum 3 year's experience in a similar roleRelevant industry knowledge (retail) preferable but not essentialCertificate IV in Training and Assessment and/or Diploma of Business (or similar)Proof of eligibility to work in Australia A national police record check is requiredMust maintain a current and valid police checkCurrent driver's licenceThe ability to travel interstate and regionally, including overnight stays when requiredEnsure that all mandatory compliance training and refreshers are completed and up to date.HOW TO APPLYIf you would like to work for one of Australia's leading not-for-profit organisations and have the satisfaction of knowing that your career contributes positively to the lives of thousands of Australians each year, please apply via the link and submit a current CV and a cover letter which details your alignment with the essential requirements of the role.
