Retail Systems Manager - Victorian Building Operations Love Where You Work!!Metricon Homes, a leading multi award winning new home builder is committed to recruiting outstanding individuals who share our passion for delivering quality, service and award winning living solutions for Australian families.This is a highly rewarding but challenging Manager / Stakeholder Management role located in Mount Waverley within the busy Victorian Operations Retail Systems team.This "ONCE IN A LIFETIME" role will see you supporting, coaching and managing your own team as well as work with the Victorian Sales, Marketing, Operations and Studio's by maintaining the company's retail product inventory in our retail systems including house pricing, standard variation pricing, displayed options, standard design options, promotions and colour/specification items. You will contribute to the development of estimating systems, process, methods, profitability and competitiveness. Reporting to the National Margin Manager, your responsibilities will include: Manage the development and maintenance of the Victorian Retail Sales/Estimating SystemsManage and mentor a team in the retail systems that are eager to learn and developEnsure Retail Option inventory (Sales Estimating database) is accurate and up to date and available for Sales and Colour Selection Studio teams to select on day of product launchEnsure all retail upgrade options have an up-to-date, accurate cost maintained in the database and reviewed regularlyEnsure all product inventory prices and descriptions are consistent with Point of Sale materialApply prices to all inventory itemsManage Displayed Option Lists to ensure all are completed prior to opening and are legally compliantInterpret information relating to new display homes and resolve any anomalies with the design/display construction/purchasing teamsConduct a site visit to reconcile information against each completed home during construction and upon completionManage House Pricing and Promotions in Retail SystemsAssist Marketing with development of promotions; andProvide Support and Liaise with Relevant Departments such as Sales and Operations and Colour Selection Studio. The successful candidate will have: Suitably qualified in management of a small teamCan demonstrate an exceptional level of customer service and communication skillsIs well organised and high level of organisational skillsSome level of experience in the residential home building industry is preferred but not essential; andIntermediate computer skills.
