We are searching for a Retail Systems IT Support Administrator who will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all retail technology systems within the organization. This role involves providing technical support to staff, troubleshooting issues, and implementing solutions to enhance the efficiency of our retail operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. They will be able to work autonomously and be a competent self-learner.
Some key responsibilities include:
Technical Support - providing first-line support for retail technology systems, including Retail Management System (RMS), inventory management, warehouse and e-commerce platforms. System Maintenance - monitor and maintain the performance of retail systems. User Training - conduct training sessions for retail staff. Issue Resolution - identify recurring issues and work with the executive team to implement solutions. Inventory Management Support - assist with inventory management system setup and troubleshooting. We are looking for someone who has:
2+ years of experience in IT support, preferably in a retail environment. Knowledge of SAAS retail technology systems (like Cegid), including POS software and inventory management systems. Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users. Experience with Shopify, Klaviyo, Shippit or similar technology integrations. Some technical coding experience and API knowledge preferred. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure. Experience with troubleshooting hardware and software issues. Ability to work on call for system critical issues that may include evenings and weekends. This is a hybrid position, which allows for both working remotely and working out of our head office in sunny downtown Port Macquarie. The position is full-time and will start in late January 2025.
