Retail Supervisor Full-time Salary Movie World, Oxenford, Gold Coast The opportunity:
You will be responsible for the daily operations, profit, cost, human resource management and guest experience for the Retail Department. A fantastic role for an experienced and motivated retail professional, you will be supported to run operations of the retail department within a small team and achieve real job satisfaction in driving sales results and growing the retail aspect of the business.
Your day to day: Manage and coordinate Retail team members including resource planning, support, mentoring, recruitment and developmentWork alongside Workforce Planning to manage rosters and pay sign off, using working knowledge of AWU/EBA agreementMonitor and action operational compliance, coordinate appropriate training and set service standardsTriage and action day-to-day requests for store communications & tasks from the Head of RetailEscalate and manage business-critical store operational issues to relevant stakeholdersPartake in decision making from product selection, pricing, promotions to selling channelsPerformance management and career development of your teamsStock feedback and inventory managementBudget management and financial reportingWhat you'll bring: Experience in leading large teamsPrevious budgetary responsibility, with proven results in wage management and sales growthPersonnel management experience including performance management, training and rosteringExcellent interpersonal and leadership skills appropriate to deal with a range of staff, guests and stakeholdersExperience with a multi-site retail operation in a fast-paced environment with at least 50 staffEnthusiastic and reliable, and the ability to work flexible hours and at different locationsStrong computer skills across standard office suite softwareOwn vehicle and open driver's license, with the ability to travel between sites as requiredExperience in SAP, Maximo and Kronos Systems highly desirableKnowledge of SAP is highly desirablePrevious Retail industry experienceApplications Close: 6th of November at 11:55pm
