Territory Uniforms are looking to fulfil a managerial role at our Winnellie store.
About Us
Territory Uniforms supply apparel, uniforms, workwear, embroidery and various other branding service to businesses, government, not for profit organizations, other entities, and individuals.
Territory Uniforms is a family-owned business that has been operating for over 45 years, we have a team of 10 people and operate from a premises in Winnellie that is a retail outlet, warehouse, and embroidery workshop. The owners now wish to take a step back.
About the Role
The essential criteria required to be successful in this role:
Manage and motivate staff.
Create a workplace culture that is conducive to staff retention.
Train and upskill staff.
Drive a high level of customer service.
Use Microsoft Word and Excel.
Look at operational areas of the business to make sure they are efficient and productive.
Suggest marketing and advertising strategies to grow the business.
Must have retail or wholesale apparel management experience.
Preferred Criteria
Experience with Retail Express point of sale software.
Understanding of MYOB Accounting program.
Self-Motivation (Take initiative to generate and act on new ideas that add value to the company. Look at different ways to solve problems and address difficulties.)
Communication (Communicate clearly and professionally in written and oral form to both internal and external customers.)
Team Leadership (Treat colleagues and customers in a manner which demonstrates integrity, honesty and fairness.)
Business Judgement (Exhibit good understanding of the business environment and the impact one's behaviour may have on the reputation of the company.)
Planning and Organisation (Set goals and strive to achieve them with enthusiasm and determination.)
***Must be permanently based in Darwin***
