THE OPPORTUNITY We are looking for a retail professional with a strong work ethic and an exceptional commitment to customer service to join our Port Lincoln team.
This presents a great opportunity to become an integral part of our growing national and international company.
Reporting to the Store Manager, you will be a key member of the Port Lincoln retail store team, assisting customers with various queries and sales relating to a wide range of home improvement products.
The successful applicant will ideally be able to work on a rotating roster across Monday-Saturday each week, equating to approximately 30-38 hours per week.
RESPONSIBILITIES Face to face and telephone customer service and sales Assist customers to find innovative design solutions and preparing project quotations Maintain store stock levels and general housekeeping, involving manual handling to shift stock when required Engage in regular product and sales training to confidently assist customer with product queries Strict adherence to our critical safety rules and contributing to a safe working environment ABOUT YOU Previous experience within the building industry, particularly liaising with trades people Proven ability to provide solutions and drive sales A passion to deliver outstanding customer service Previous experience within the building industry Forklift licence or willingness to obtain Highly organised with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment You will also have the opportunity to participate in 'Stratco's Delivering Excellence Program' supporting employee personal and professional development, by providing national retail career pathways and offering recognised qualifications.
