Our client is a locally owned and multi-faceted business specialising in the construction, installation, and servicing of swimming pools and spas. In addition to their comprehensive pool and spa services, our client takes pride in offering a wide range of high-quality pool chemicals and accessories to enhance the pool ownership experience. To support this function of the business, we are currently seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to join the team as a Retail Sales Assistant. The successful candidate will play a key role in maximising retail sales and profits, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, and contributing to the overall success of the business' retail operations.Key Responsibilities:Assist customers in selecting pool and spa chemicals, accessories, and equipment.Provide advice on pool and spa maintenance, ensuring customers have the information they need to enjoy a clean and well-maintained pool or spa.Operate the cash register and process sales transactions accurately.Maintain a clean and organised retail environment.Collaborate with the Retail Team Leader to achieve sales objectives and targets.Stay informed about product knowledge and industry trends to provide valuable insights to customers.Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.Skills, experience and knowledge required:Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Basic computer skills for point-of-sale transactions.All of the necessary training and support is offered with this role, so whether you have previous retail experience, or you are looking to change careers, this could be the perfect role for you!
