About the opportunity As our Retail Postage Sorter, you'll play an important part in keeping millions of Australians connected.
As you'd expect, plenty of mail comes through our Post Offices and delivery facilities every day – and our mail sorting teams make sure every delivery gets where it needs to.
Role Details: Adult Pay Rate $27.04 per hour increases to $28.91 per hour after 3 months + 12% Superannuation Working Monday - Friday, 15 hours per week, 3 hours per day between the hours of 5:00AM - 5:00PM Extensive, supportive training on commencement, from Monday - Friday, a 4-5 hour shift daily for the initial 8 weeks Relief team members will be assigned shifts at various Post Offices within a specific area, so you must be willing to work at the following locations: Buddina, Caloundra, Sippy Downs, Mooloolaba, Maroochydore BC, Buderim & Maleny You'll be: Manually sorting all mail arriving at the workplace Sorting and distributing mail into relevant PO Boxes Assisting and/or performing administrative duties such as stocktaking and record maintenance About you You're friendly, enthusiastic, and reliable, and you love the balance of working in a team environment and autonomously.
