About the Role: As the Marketing Coordinator at Platypus Shoes, you will play a key role in the successful execution of retail marketing initiatives across our Australia and New Zealand stores.
This role requires a proactive thinker with a focus on delivering the successful role out of all retail marketing collateral, end to end management of the marketing responsibilities within our new stores and refits, relationship management with our print partners and the ability to adapt within a fast-paced retail environment.
Your key responsibilities will include: New Store Opening Strategies: Take end-to-end ownership of new store opening strategies, ensuring they align with brand objectives and deliver positive ROI.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate all aspects of the new store launch, from internal print collateral to store activations.
Provide detailed reporting and KPI measurements post every store opening event.
Budget Management: Own and manage budgets for various projects, including new store openings, retail activations and campaign assets.
Managing the quoting process with multiple suppliers to ensure cost efficiencies are found.
Retail Activations: Execute retail activations in collaboration with the retail team, creating engaging and memorable experiences for customers.
Oversee the implementation of retail marketing plans, ensuring alignment with overall brand strategy.
Purchase Orders (POs) and Invoicing Management: Create and manage purchase orders and invoices for various marketing projects.
Ensure accuracy in financial documentation and adherence to company policies.
Centre Management Relationship Development: Develop and nurture relationships with centre management to enhance collaboration and support for store initiatives.
Work closely with shopping centre representatives to optimise Platypus Shoes' presence within each retail location.
Ownership of the Marketing Print Distros: End to end management of the marketing distros to ensure they are kept up to date and are correct.
Manage the briefing and creation of project specific distros to the agency and print partners.
Manage lifecycle of assets – Retail Stores, Centres, Centre Media Sites To succeed in this role, you will need to have: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
