Retail Manager

Grove Estate Wines is seeking a motivated and experienced individual for the position of Retail Manager.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for wine, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record in retail management.ResponsibilitiesProvide excellent customer service, including conducting tastings and advising customers on wine selection.Manage inventory, including stock levels and ordering.Ensure compliance with food handling safety regulations.Train and supervise staff, ensuring high standards of performance.Develop and implement purchasing and marketing policies.Maintain records of stock levels.Promote and advertise the goods and services.Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.RequirementsMinimum 5 years of experience in the wine industry and shop management.Strong knowledge of wines, preferably with certification.Experience in retail sales.Ability to work under pressure during busy periods.Physically fit and able to lift cartons (16kg) of wines.RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certificate.Police Clearance Certificate.Strong communication skills and leadership.Proven ability to work towards and achieve key performance indicators.Food handling safety certificate.Seniority LevelMid-Senior levelEmployment TypeFull-timeJob FunctionSales and Business DevelopmentIndustriesWineries#J-18808-Ljbffr
