We are looking for an "A Player" Retail Manager to drive the daily operations of our new Australian Distilling Co venue that has recently opened in Mercato Centrale.
You will lead our high-performing team to maximise sales and profitability, deliver an unforgettable customer experience and ensure our brands continue to be best in class.

Key responsibilities of this exciting, hands-on role include: Driving sales to meet set targets and budgets while closely managing operational costsOnboarding, developing, and managing the team with hands-on leadershipConducting engaging product training and tasting eventsActively promoting our product range and positively representing our brand at all timesBuilding and maintaining strong working relationships with vendors, suppliers and other key stakeholdersManaging and completing operational duties including but not limited to rostering, forecasting, inventory management and reportingEnsuring the venue operates seamlessly, providing guests with an unforgettable experienceWorking with the General Manager to set up best practice systems and processes for our venueEnsuring the venue meets all relevant compliance and legislative requirementsTogether with being reliable, loyal, and trustworthy, the successful candidate will demonstrate the following attributes: 3+ years of Retail Management experienceA proven track record of success in consistently exceeding sales targetsA high level of motivation and ability to think outside of the squareA proven ability to achieve objectives and demonstrate actual resultsFocused, driven and motivatedA desire to learn and embrace the "lean" culture of the organisationHighly developed written and verbal communication skillsA positive, 'can do' attitudeProblem solving and negotiation skillsStrong values, ensuring integrity in every decision and actionAbility to work autonomously as well as collaboratively as part of a teamUnderstanding of numbersCritical thinking skills and a focus on solutionsTime management and prioritisation skillsProfessional presentationIf you possess these attributes and our mission and values resonate with you and you are looking to join our energetic environment where people receive recognition and reward for their hard work and commitment, then this role will provide you with a stimulating and exciting career opportunity.
