Retail Manager

Spring Professional have an exciting opportunity available as Retail Manager for a large shopping centre in Melbourne.

This large and bustling shopping centre in Melbourne's North has a strong community focus, huge food and dining precincts and a wide array of international lifestyle brands, homewares and major stores.

This opportunity is working alongside a large team existing centre team.

Key responsibilities of the position:

Assist in the preparation of budgets and business plans for the asset Implementation of the retailer engagement strategy Critical retailer management including debtors Relationship and operational management of retailers Assessing the performance of retailers and identifying opportunities to improve sales levels Maintaining positive relations with retailers, customers, suppliers, local government and other important stakeholders Ensure efficient collection of monthly retailer sales figures and coordinate the preparation of monthly sales reports Meet with retailers on a regular basis to discuss marketing requirements for their business Ideal candidate:

Experience in a similar role - shopping centre asset management Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) Excellent relationship management skills Strong negotiation skills Initiative, professionalism & persistence This is an incredible 'foot in the door' opportunity with an industry leader who own and operate a large number of centres across Australia.
