IGA Local Grocer Burnett Heads is seeking a dedicated Retail Manager to oversee the daily operations and drive our business forward.
Salary Range: $70,000 to $80,000 per annum  Role: Full time Location: Burnett Heads QLD 4670 Main Duties: ·        Plan and oversee daily store operations to ensure smooth and efficient functioning.
·        Establish product selection and define service expectations to meet local community needs including seasonal variations.
·        Manage inventory, including purchasing, stock control, and minimizing wastage.
·        Create purchasing and marketing strategies, prioritizing local products and fair pricing.
·        Monitor and analyse financial performance, including budgets, revenue, and expenses.
·        Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve financial targets and profitability.
·        Plan and execute marketing and promotional activities to enhance sales and brand visibility.
·        Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate staff to maintain a productive team environment.
·        Build relationships with local suppliers, community members, and key stakeholders.
·        Assist customers with product choices and provide helpful advice for their specific needs.
·        Ensure high standards of customer service and address feedback and complaints effectively.
·        Ensure compliance with health, safety, and legal regulations within the store.
Skills & Qualifications: ·        Minimum Bachelor of Business or related field.
·        At least 1 year of professional experience in a busy environment and possess knowledge of retail industry ·        Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team effectively.
·        Strong focus on delivering high-quality customer experiences.
·        Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
·        Strong analytical and decision-making capabilities to address challenges.
Australian citizens/permanent residents preferred.
