We're looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Retail Manager to join our Canberra team and help deliver exceptional customer experiences while overseeing daily store operations.
Job Overview: As the Retail Manager of our Canberra shop, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations, ensuring excellent customer service, and leading a team to achieve sales targets. You will play a key role in maintaining the smooth running of our branches while ensuring a fun, welcoming environment for all customers.
Responsibilities: Oversee the daily operations of our Canberra shop, ensuring smooth workflow and efficient processes. Recruit, train, and supervise staff, ensuring high standards of customer service are consistently met. Plan and manage stock levels, orders, and inventory to prevent shortages or waste. Monitor sales performance and drive strategies to achieve sales targets and increase profitability. Maintain health and safety standards, ensuring cleanliness and hygiene practices are followed. Implement promotional activities, marketing strategies, and seasonal campaigns to boost sales. Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional and timely manner. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures as well as industry regulations. Additional experience that will help with your application: Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks efficiently. Strong understanding of retail sales principles and customer service excellence. Experience in inventory management, stock control, and financial reporting.
