The Melbourne office of this renowned national law firm is seeking an experienced Leasing Paralegal to join its growing Property team. This firm values the contributions of its employees and working here you will not be just a number; they have many incentives and benefits in place to ensure their staff maintains a happy, healthy and balanced lifestyle.ResponsibilitiesAs the ideal candidate for this opportunity it is expected that you can successfully manage a high volume leasing portfolio made up of both retail and commercial leasing matters. Your responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:Preparing retail and commercial leases, disclosure statements, lease renewals, and assignments of lease;Negotiating amendments with tenants;Liaising with clients, clients' tenants and their lawyers and attending to queries;Assist with leasing components of commercial property transactions where required; All other relevant administrative responsibilities that come with managing your own portfolioIt Is Essential That You Hold The FollowingMinimum of 3 years experience in a similar position, gained in either a private practice law firm or in-house;Working knowledge and understanding of the Retail Leases Act' 2003; Impeccable organisational skills and the ability to manage competing deadlines.
