About the opportunity As our Retail Customer Service Officer, you'll play an important part in helping Australians service their own businesses, keeping millions of people connected and building community resilience. Every year around one million customers walk into one of our Australia Post Offices. It's our retail teams who make sure that every experience they have is a great one. And while they do, they're supported by a welcoming team, take part in ongoing training, and are guided on career development opportunities.
Adult Pay Rate $27.48 increases to $29.37 after 3 months12% Superannuation12-month fixed term contractPart-time 25 hours per weekExtensive, supportive full-time (paid) training for 6 weeksMust travel on occasions between the following suburbs: Rockingham, Warnbro, Kwinana, Mandurah, Mandurah EastYou'll be: Performing customer sales and service transactionsManaging high value transactions accurately (handling and processing cash, cheques, credit cards and EFTPOS)Conducting and processing identity services transactions, including Australian Passport InterviewsPromoting our products and services through up-selling and cross-selling, merchandising and other promotional activitiesAssisting customers with mail lodgements and associated costsBuilding rewarding relationships with customers by understanding their needsAssisting with administrative duties such as stocktaking and record maintenanceAbout you You're friendly, enthusiastic and reliable and you love working in a team environment. You're ready to put the customer at the centre of everything you do to help make a difference in the community. You'll also need to:
