What you'll do
The Retail Commercial Manager is a pivotal role responsible for driving end-to-end value creation across the total Red Meat category by managing key relationships and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. Combine your strategic mindset and commercial knowledge within a value chain to support data-lead decisions and influencing stakeholders for best outcomes. Come to every table with a plan and concept, using your innovation and knowledge to circumvent roadblocks.
Manage the Retail Supermarket Channel to support the delivery of the Retail Annual and 3Y Strategic Meat Category Plan.Continuously improve the existing product range and identify profit and revenue rate improvement opportunities.Lead and manage Greenstock's retail product development and innovation projects through cross-functional teams across Greenstock, Woolworths Food Company Retail Teams and our Manufacturing partners.Collaborate with Greenstock Sourcing and Operations Teams, and the wider Woolworths Group, providing insights into the Greenstock value chain and recommending opportunities to improve overall returns.Project manage the scoping, feasibility, product development and execution phases to drive end-to-end value creation.Develop strong working relationships with Hilton Foods Australia and key industry bodies such as MLA, APL etc to leverage information, market trends, and insights.What you'll bring
Bachelor degree in Food Science, Business, Commerce, or equivalent industry experience.5+ years of experience in Retail Key Account Management (finance, commercial retail, manufacturing backgrounds ideal).Experience in the red meat or other protein categories, with a strong understanding of the end-to-end supply chain and the complexities of manufacturing environments.Experience with delivering project outcomes, task-switching to ensure prioritisation of deliverables.Exceptional stakeholder relationship management; able to bring key stakeholders along the journey and influence for best results.Demonstrated proficiency in Google Suite and the application of data analytics.What you'll experience
