About the Role As a Retail Assistant, you'll need to be able to work in a diverse fast-paced environment and be comfortable multitasking to ensure that our customers receive the highest level of service.
We are looking for team members who will predominantly be based in our new concept book shop/cafe (The Book Cellar) with occasional work in our other airport stores.
You will also be responsible for a variety of tasks, including: Serve customers in a timely, efficient, and courteous manner.
Cash handling and standard retail transactions.
Get involved in merchandising and stock rotation.
Basic food preparation and coffee making.
Keep all work areas (interior and exterior) clean and tidy at all times, and maintain clean equipment in accordance with company procedures.
About You The ideal candidate will be a modest team player with strong initiative.
With excellent interpersonal skills and robust retail management experience, this candidate will provide support and guidance across the terminal.
You will also carry the following criteria: At least 2 years customer service experience is essential.
Hold current RSA certificate.
Barista experience highly regarded.
Experience handling cash and POS transactions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Flexibility to work across 7 day operations.
Demonstrate your flair for customer service.
Exceptional time management skills and reliability.
