Opportunity – Novaskill is currently partnered with a renowned and reputable business to offer a Retail Baking Apprenticeship. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn from experienced professionals, gain practical experience, and build a rewarding career in the baking industry.

You'll be completing a nationally recognised Certificate III in Retail Baking whilst gaining experience and developing relationships in the industry.

Learnings – Learning proper food handling and storage techniques to prevent contamination. Practicing efficient preparation and baking schedules to meet customer demands. Learn the importance of communication and support within a team. Gaining skills in adjusting recipes based on ingredient availability or dietary restrictions. Responsibilities – Assist with the preparation and baking of a variety of bread, pastries, and cakes. Follow recipes and ensure consistency in quality and presentation. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Operate baking equipment safely and efficiently. Provide excellent customer service, including taking orders and answering inquiries. Adhere to health and safety standards in food preparation. Requirements – Enthusiasm for baking and a willingness to learn. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude. Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and public holidays.
