What you'll do
As a Retail Associate (aka our Front of House superstar), you'll be the face of Zoomo at our Brisbane site and help riders acquire the basic skills they need to get on the road and provide them with quick, efficient support, cultivating positive relationships with Zoomo. When a customer needs assistance, you'll use your mastery of current Zoomo technology to quickly assess their situation and support them with advice or a solution on the spot.
This role is a unique opportunity to take ownership of store operations. If successful you will be reporting to Zoomo's Country Operations Manager and you will lead the "front-of-house" function at our Brisbane store, some of your duties will include:
Be responsible for the seamless operation of the store's "front-of-house" including opens and closes.
Ensure our riders have an awesome and seamless in-person support experience.
Walk riders through the onboarding process and all safety requirements.
Help existing riders troubleshoot any issues they experience with our e-bikes.
Meeting sales goals by selling our products to riders.
Continuously looking at how to improve processes and procedures within the store.
Stay on top of new Zoomo policies, procedures, and programs that affect riders.
Be our customers' biggest advocate, ensuring you provide an excellent customer experience to the Zoomo rider.
Work in close partnership with the bike mechanic team working in the "back-of-house".
Work in close partnership with the Country Operations Manager to successfully operate the store.
Requirements
Work a regular full-time roster of 38 hours per week.
Previous experience in a customer-facing Retail or Operations environment.
Confidence and ability to work autonomously and deliver results.
Fantastic communication skills and customer service skills.
Ability to create good relationships with peers in other city locations digitally and by phone.
Strong attention to detail and ability to learn and use online systems.
Capable of multitasking or working under pressure from customers.
Able to identify, solve issues and take ownership to resolve them.
Capable of building trusting relationships with customers and suppliers.
Bonus points for these desired traits!
Fluency in languages other than English (e.g. Spanish).
An interest or enthusiasm for all things bikes or e-bikes!
Any work experience relating to bikes, e-bikes, or light electric vehicles, including maintenance.
