Retail Assistant Manager - Cooktown Trinity Petroleum Services Pty Ltd is a locally operated company with 16 Fuel & Convenience Retail outlets in Northern Queensland. We have a Retail Assistant Manager position available at our service station in Cooktown.
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who enjoys motivating and inspiring others and has a passion for high level customer service and personalising the shopping experience. It is essential that you are available to work across store trading hours, including weekends and that you have experience in safe handling and preparation of take away food. This role will also require you to undertake merchandising and rotation of stock, therefore you must be physically capable of undertaking heavy lifting and being on your feet for long periods of time.
As aRetail Assistant Manageryou take pride in the success and presentation of your site and have a great attention to detail. You will be required to assist the Site Manager in all daily operations of the site, which includes;
Meeting assigned budgets and KPIsStaff rostering, mentoring and trainingFood preparation and handlingVolume cash handling and reconciliationsProviding exceptional customer service and operating the consoleMerchandising, marketing and stock management - receipting inward goods, lifting, restocking and layout variationsEnsuring food safety standards are adhered to and followedThe Successful Applicant: Passionate to provide exceptional customer serviceA role model for fellow employeesExperience in a similar roleAbility to manoeuvre heavy objects (lift up to 30kgs)Outstanding communication across all levelsWorks well in a team environmentA flexible attitude that will grow and change with the businessAn unforgettable presence in customer relationsPLEASE APPLY!
