Revive Restoration services the community efficiently and conscientiously through restoration in events such as flooding, mould, fire damage, trauma, and more.
We are looking to hire a Labourer/ Restoration Technician for our busy operation.
Day to day responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: Use of restoration equipmentMould remediation / treatmentWater extraction & structural dryingInteracting with clientsMoving furniture and contentsSmoke & soot damage remediation/cleaningCarpet & upholstery cleaningUse of your phone with mobile data to record accurate job information through an App (we use industry-related software, full training provided)Occasional depot maintenance, equipment maintenance and general shop tidy workTo be considered for this position you must meet the following requirements: Qualifications: Certificate in WATER DAMAGE RESTORATIONMust hold current C Class (Manual) Open License (THIS IS ESSENTIAL DUE TO NEEDING TO DRIVE OUR WORK VEHICLES)Confident Driver in Larger VehiclesAbility to undergo a police checkPossess a General Construction Induction (White Card) or willing to obtain one immediatelySkills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbalInterpersonal skillsComputer Literate- (Main report platform is Encircle App on candidates phone)Able to perform labour-intensive workPersonal Attributes: Looking for a long-term careerHonest, reliable, dependable, and trustworthyAbility to follow instructions and a willingness to learnA good work ethic with a positive attitudeCommon sense and good judgmentWilling to undergo in-house and industry-specific trainingAbility to work independently and as part of a teamWell presentedWell organised with attention to detailPosition Demands: Heavy liftingRequirements to participate in full-time workWilling to work overtime – available to work occasional weekends and after hours as requiredWilling to travel if requiredPrevious experience is necessary, training will be provided to the successful qualified applicantBackground in building and contents restorationPrevious experience in hands-on, physically demanding rolesHow to Apply: Please include a cover letter addressing our key job requirements in this vacancy listing and attach a copy of your resume with contactable, work-related references.
