We're looking for a Restoration Science intern to join us.

THE ROLE: Understanding the success of our nature restoration efforts is crucial to Land Life's goals.
We engage in extensive monitoring efforts to track tree growth and survival to improve future planting designs.
In Australia, we use both seeds and seedlings for restoration.
By analysing the data collected during our restoration approach, we can identify if it leads to improved restoration outcomes.
As part of this internship, you will play a crucial role in supporting this process.
You'll be working in the Science team, which includes biologists, foresters, and ecologists.
Your main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Performing a literature review on the pros and cons of direct seeding as a restoration approach.Compiling the monitoring data of our projects to prepare it for further analysis.Conducting data analyses to extract key insights that contribute to restoration strategies.Assisting in writing reports summarising findings from your analyses.Assisting with potential fieldwork for seedling survival monitoring.
