Restaurant Supervisor - Full-time PositionStarting at $18.00+, depending on experience.
Job Description:To provide leadership for the restaurant and room service affording only the best service, product consistency and quality with an awareness of hotel policies and procedures in order to maximize profitability.
Typical Work Conditions:Restaurant and other outlets.
Equipment Used:Computer, telephone, printer, XN POS, trays, silverware, glassware, linens, dishes, bar equipment.
Knowledge/Training:A minimum of 2 years of restaurant and/or management experience is required.High school diploma or equivalent.Good organizational skills for dealing with diverse duties and staff.Open availability is a must including days, nights, holidays and whenever needed.Promote good customer relations and handle customer concerns.Fill in as needed serving, bartending, covering shifts.Motivating and monitoring employee performance.Comply with all health and safety regulations.Conduct daily shift line-ups and pre-shift meetings ensuring all employees are to standard.Know the meaning of suggestive selling and how to implement these ideas into everyday practices.Train staff members on how to address issues when they arise.Perform spot checks on staff members to ensure they are using provided resources appropriately.Control labor costs without compromising quality standards.Prepare reports relevant to your department as requested.Assist as needed and monitor service on the floor.Act as host/hostess when needed, managing the floor.Ensure that side work is completed.Be available for day/night shifts as assigned by department management.Develop individual staff members for future advancement. #J-18808-Ljbffr
