Novotel Melbourne South Wharf is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to lead our service team, optimise operations, and elevate our Guests' dining experiences across our Award-Winning Restaurant, Bar/Café, and Room Service operations.Key Responsibilities:Oversee daily operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service aligned with business demand.Set, implement, and maintain high service standards, driving quality and a consistent guest experience.Identify revenue opportunities, manage costs effectively, and optimise workplace efficiency through roster management and inventory control.Lead and develop your team through targeted training, performance evaluations, and mentorship, fostering a culture of excellence.Conduct training, performance evaluations, and counselling of staff.Recruit team members who align with our standards and values, ensuring a high level of guest engagement and satisfaction.Review guest feedback regularly to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary adjustments.Utilise and maintain operational systems, including Micros and PP+, to streamline service and enhance controls.Ensure WH&S and sustainability commitments are upheld within the department.Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure seamless service delivery.QualificationsProven experience in leading and managing a successful team in a high-volume restaurant.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to prioritise tasks, multitask, and work effectively in a team environment.Outgoing personality with a positive attitude, initiative, and the ability to think creatively.Strong work ethic and exceptional customer service skills.Immaculate personal presentation and attention to detail.Valid Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate & valid right to work in Australia.Flexibility to work shifts including days, evenings, and weekends.Benefits:Be a part of a global hospitality company and explore Accor's limitless possibilities.On-the-job training and mentorship.Access pathways for career advancement and personal development within Accor.Enjoy exclusive Accor discounts and global benefits.#J-18808-Ljbffr
