While being a valued member of our team, you will have the satisfaction of making a difference to the future success of the business.About the Role and ResponsibilitiesDemonstrate your extensive skills and knowledge of food and drinks service to our team to help them improve their performance while communicating with all employees and patrons in a respectful and professional manner.The role requires someone who understands the priority of our business is customer service, while at times working under pressure in a busy restaurant.A hands-on role welcoming our guests and ensuring they experience the highest possible standard of food and drink service in a relaxed casual atmosphere.Conduct pre-shift huddles to direct FOH and bar staff in a calm, constructive and collaborative manner to ensure they provide guests an enjoyable memorable experience.Manage restaurant operations from opening to closing along with reconciliation of tills and producing end of shift reports.Monitor our Obee online booking system along with guest seating arrangements.Ensure all FOH and bar staff are adhering to company policies and procedures along with compliance of workplace health and safety regulations.Stock ordering for the restaurant and bar to ensure sufficient stock and equipment levels appropriate for service.Ensure the restaurant maintains the highest standard of cleanliness.Specific Job Skills RequiredMinimum of 2 years experience in a similar role.Competent in Point of Sale and restaurant reservation systems.Experience with computer hardware and software programs enabling you to carry out the required aspects of the role.Ability to work in Australia without any restrictions and to communicate confidently and clearly in English both verbally and written.Must be available to work on weekdays, weekends, and some public holidays and have a full Australian driver's license.Hold a valid RSA and current certification in food safety, as required under the QLD Food Safety guidelines.Be highly organised, with high standards of personal presentation and integrity, encouraging the same of others.
