Via Dolce prides itself on its authentic flavors, quality craftsmanship, and dedication to providing a unique culinary experience. The restaurant requires a dedicated Restaurant Manager to oversee day-to-day operations, optimize staff performance, and maintain high service standards. The manager plays a crucial role in coordinating between the kitchen and front-of-house teams, ensuring smooth and efficient service. This role is vital to maintaining Via Dolce's reputation for quality and delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Job Duties

Collaborating with chefs to design menus.
Coordinating and managing special events.
Handling the procurement and pricing of products within budget constraints.
Keeping track of inventory levels and financial records.
Ensuring the dining areas meet health standards and are clean, well-maintained, and aesthetically pleasing.
Engaging with customers to gauge their satisfaction with food and service.
Recruiting, training, and overseeing the performance of both kitchen and waiting staff.
Managing and overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant to deliver high-quality dining and catering services.

To be successful in this position

At least 1-2 years of experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar position in the hospitality field.
At least Certificate III or diploma in hospitality management or similar qualifications.
Demonstrate strong leadership and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and customer service abilities are essential for fostering positive guest experiences and resolving any issues that arise.
A solid understanding of budgeting, inventory management, and health regulations is critical, as well as experience in planning menus and coordinating events.
