Located at the stunning iconic building in Acton, Parlour restaurant is a Canberra institution, open since 2008.
We pride ourselves on delivering an exceptional experience to each of our guests and have built a team of professionals that is recognised for their skills and experience.
Duties and Responsibilities
As the Restaurant Manager, you will work closely with the Head Chef to operate the business at the highest level and ensure service standards are met.
Key areas that you will be assessed in:
Leading and developing the front-of-house team
Ensuring high quality service standards in all aspects of the business
Managing and reporting on business performance and targets
Liaising with function clients and managing expectations to drive profitability while delivering an efficient and memorable guest experience
Working with the Head Chef and other management to deliver exceptional customer experience
Your duties include, but are not limited to:
Reporting on daily trade, issues, maintenance, staffing and incidents
Developing and coaching the FOH team around skills and product knowledge
Maintaining operational standards and procedures e.g.
cleaning checklist, customer service procedures etc.
Observing and promptly managing and reporting any hazards, risks and maintenance issues
Engaging with potential clients
Managing events
Working with the Head Chef to execute functions efficiently

Pay:
$75,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
Experience:
Restaurant management: 1 year (Preferred)
Restaurant industry: 2 years (Preferred)
