We are seeking an exceptional Restaurant Manager to lead our incredible team of professionals. As the Restaurant Manager, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the high standards of service, playful atmosphere and excellence that define "Tunki - Ceviche & Woodfire Grill".
Start date for position is flexible based on notice period. Ideally mid January or earlier as required by applicant.
Key Responsibilities Leadership: Lead and inspire a dedicated team of culinary and service professionals to deliver an outstanding guest experience. Operations Management: Oversee daily operations, ensuring seamless coordination between kitchen and front-of-house staff. Contribute to Menu Design: Work alongside Krish and his Team to continue innovating their Nikkei cuisine. Booking Management: Manage bookings using Now Book It and liaise with guests to ensure expectations and standards are met while optimizing restaurant floorplan and booking numbers. Customer Service: Uphold the highest standards of hospitality, addressing guest concerns promptly and effectively. Financial Management: Manage budgets, control costs, and optimize profitability while maintaining quality and service standards. Training & Development: Conduct regular training sessions to enhance staff skills and knowledge, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures. Marketing & Promotions: Collaborate with marketing teams to develop and implement promotional strategies to attract and retain guests. Qualifications Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar role within a high-end dining establishment. Strong leadership, team management and communication skills. Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. Solid understanding of restaurant operations and financial management. Ability to work under pressure and in a dynamic environment. A passion for culinary excellence and innovative dining experiences. Comprehensive knowledge and flair for hospitality, with importance placed on cocktail and wine knowledge. High level focus on guest engagement and education. 4 years' experience in a similar role. RSA Certificate. What We Offer Competitive salary and benefits package.
