Your expertise will play a key role in maintaining the impeccable standards of our establishment and delivering exceptional dining experiences to our patrons.
Current Opening: This opportunity is a full-time position (38 hours per week).
Position Responsibilities and Tasks: Collaborate with chefs to design and maintain menus that reflect the rustic, provincial cuisine and European-style ambiance of the bistro and cafe.
Supervise daily operations across Harry's Bistro and Plantation Café, ensuring smooth service during lunch and dinner sittings.
Lead, train, and manage staff to provide professional, friendly service that enhances the guest experience.
Monitor customer satisfaction by promptly addressing inquiries, special requests, and complaints.
Oversee inventory management, ensuring timely procurement of quality ingredients, beverages, and supplies.
Develop staff rosters to ensure adequate coverage during operating hours while optimizing labor costs.
Implement and maintain food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety standards across both venues.
Plan and execute promotional events and seasonal campaigns to drive customer engagement and sales.
Monitor financial performance, manage budgets, and implement strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
Establish and nurture relationships with suppliers to secure favorable pricing and consistent delivery of high-quality products.
Qualifications and Skills: Relevant qualifications in hospitality management or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 1 years' experience managing a fast-paced restaurant or cafe environment.
Proven ability to oversee high standards of food service and operational productivity.
Knowledge or experience in provincial or European cuisine is highly desirable.
Exceptional time management and organizational skills to ensure smooth service operations.
Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and leadership capabilities.
Strong attention to detail, particularly in customer service and operational execution.
Ability to manage budgets, inventory, and supplier relationships effectively.
Salary: The role offers a remuneration package is $65,000 to 75,000 p.a.
superannuation for a 38-hour work week.
