We are Zambrero. We are a quick-service restaurant that offers tasty burritos, bowls, nachos, and tacos filled with home-made guac and other goodies.
But we are not just a healthy quick-service restaurant! We also donate one meal to someone in need for every bowl or burrito bought at Zambrero through our Plate 4 Plate initiative.
What you'll do
Managing your team, including hiring, training, performance reviews, rostering, and resolving any employee issues including grievances Ensuring food is prepared, presented, and served to the highest standard. Ordering of stock from various suppliers Office administration duties such as paperwork, banking, cash handling, payroll, and reviewing policies Compiling, preparing, and maintaining profit and loss statements, budgets, and cost controls with regard to cost of goods and labour Managing daily and weekly cleaning of the production areas, dining room, and general restaurant Ensuring safety and security standards are recognised and upheld, and that employees are effectively trained in Workplace Health and Safety What you'll bring
Previous Restaurant Management experience of minimum in a fast paced QSR environment for a MINIMUM of 2 years Food Safety Supervisor and First Aid trained MANDATORY HIGHLY DESIRABLE skills and experience in stock control and inventory management systems Passionate about building a positive culture within the restaurant– focused on exceptional customer service, working together, delegating and following up. Ability to spot the champions in store to develop into Supervisors and Managers Ability to speak clearly and listen attentively to both customers and colleagues Ability to maintain a professional, well-groomed, and neat appearance at all times Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing customer levels as required What we offer
