Known for its artisanal approach, it specializes in long-ferment sourdough breads and a variety of sweet and savory pastries.Duties:Coordinate and plan menus with Chefs and other kitchen staffOversee, coordinate, and organize special functions and large bookingsPlanning the purchase and pricing of goods in accordance with budgetKeeping records of stock levels and financial transactions for the restaurantEnsure dining, restaurant and kitchen spaces adhere to health regulations and are clean, functional and of suitable appearanceCommunicating with customers to receive feedback about their dining experience and improve customer experiencePromote the restaurant brand in the local community through word-of-mouth and restaurant eventsTake reservations, greet guests and assist in taking ordersRequirements:AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma.At least 3 years of relevant experience may substitute for these formal qualifications and requirements.At least 3 years' experience managing a restaurant and working in the hospitality industry.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to work under pressure and during busy dining periods in the restaurant.Organisation and time management skills are essential to the overall operations of the restaurant.Proficient management and leadership skills.Conflict and dispute resolution skills encouraged.Australian citizens and permanent residents are encouraged to apply.
