Falvey Hotels have an opportunity for a Restaurant & Functions Supervisor to oversee the daily restaurant operations at Falvey's Hotel Yamanto. Coming into the busy end of year/Christmas period we're looking for a strong leader who thrives in a busy environment.Falvey's Hotel Yamanto is one of 6 Hotels in our group. We are a well-established family-owned business with over 40 years in the game.THE ROLE:Book, run and promote functions and reply to all enquiries in a timely manner.Lead the guest experience and continually look for opportunities to improve.Lead and coach a diverse team of people ensuring that team culture is at the forefront of everything that you do.Monitor wages, comps, and wastages.Assist with team member rostering in line with forecasting and budgeting.Assist guests with any feedback and actioning as appropriate.Contribute to a culture of care and safety, ensuring it becomes a way of life within the business.Ensure venue presentation is at a high standard at all times.Liaise with other departments on a regular basis.A high knowledge of the product produced in venue.All of the usual suspects are required, including your RSA & RSG - an RMLV & Approved Managers License will be highly regarded.We require someone who has strong management skills and can balance the operational as well as the people leadership responsibilities. It also requires someone who can be hands-on, roll up their sleeves, and get in the action.Falvey's Hotel Yamanto offers a full food and beverage service with a capacity of 300+ guests.
