About the Role
Based in the stunning Great Ocean Road coastal city of Warrnambool, this property is part of an expanding hospitality and resort group.
It offers autonomy and a career path that will allow the right candidate a pathway to senior management as part of a growing team.
The property has a balanced market mix of corporate and leisure with a business plan to grow both these segments.
The Restaurants and Bars Manager role is a hands-on position leading a small team, but as part of a group comprising over 140 rooms across several venues, will mean being part of the leadership group and reporting directly to the Operations Manager.
As a senior leader in our team, you will join the operations meetings and be part of group collective decision-making with exposure to:
Revenue Management Hospitality and resort operations including food and beverage Financial control Sales, marketing and distribution Human resources and people management Compliance and Standards including: WHS; Food safety, Liquor regulation, ESM The role has responsibility for the daily operations in one of our most exclusive properties including the world-renowned Deep Blue Hot Springs complex.
It will include being involved in the F+B operations, restaurants, bars and kitchens in our other hotels and being part of the acquisition and divestitures team.
About You
If you come from a background of hotels and resorts and have experience in either Australia or overseas at a senior manager level, this role could suit you.
You will need to be hands-on and prepared to work a 5-day out of 7 roster, with a focus on:
Customer service Team culture Growing revenue across all F+B outlets You will need to have a good understanding of property management systems, financial reporting processes and operational benchmarks.
Your ability to lead, motivate and delegate will set you apart and allow you to complete the duties the role requires.
It needs you to be a positive outcome-driven individual with attention to small details and empathy in people engagement.
