Job Description
Established in 1988, Rest is one of Australia's largest profit-to-member superannuation funds. In this role you will:
Oversight of mandate compliance activities including pre and post trade compliance with investment management agreements for internal and external managers. Contribute to the design, implementation and enhancement of compliance processes for portfolio management activities and oversight of investment managers. Monitor compliance with investment guidelines and risk limits for internal and external mandates, and Whole of Fund aggregated portfolios. Maintain collaborative working relationships with various stakeholders (Rest investment and investment operations teams, external investment managers, and the fund custodian).
Qualifications
Tertiary qualification in accounting, economics, business or equivalent. (Desirable) professional certification (e.g., CFA or FRM).
Required experience, understanding or credentials including :
Demonstrated experience in investment risk and compliance in the investment management and/or superannuation industry. Thorough understanding of, and experience in portfolio management and investment agreements. Demonstrated 'commercial' approach to investment risk and compliance, including ability to engage effectively with senior decision makers and portfolio managers. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise competing deadlines. Well-developed interpersonal skills coupled with sound oral and written communication skills. Preferably have prior experience using Charles River.
