About this Opportunity Mask Fit testing is a validated method to determine whether a specific make, model and size of respirator achieves an adequate seal on an individual's face.
In this vital role, you will conduct quantitative respiratory mask fit testing for students preparing for work placements in health and hospital settings.
Your expertise will help ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, contributing to the safety and well-being of future healthcare professionals.
You will be responsible for updating mask fit testing results in an approved record-keeping system, printing certificates and general administration tasks.
You will also ensure equipment is maintained as per procedure and monitor stock and consumables.
Practical application and experience in mask fit testing as it applied to the Health Services industry is highly desirable.

Position Requirements Essential Requirements
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to prioritise work and follow schedules and instructions.
Strong customer service focus and proven ability to communicate with a broad range of people with different backgrounds.
Flexible availability, with a confident ability to work autonomously without supervision.
Excellent problem solving skills, with a 'Can do' attitude to differing challenges or new tasks.
Completion of Year 12 with relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
The following skills and experience are highly regarded but not essential.
Extensive training across these areas will be provided to successful applicants.
Knowledge of safe work practices and ability to maintain a safe working environment for self and others.
Understanding of the requirements of mask fit testing requirements and/or evidence as it applies to the Health Services industry.
Completion of Australian Institute of Occupational Hygiene (AIOH) RESP-FIT approved course.
