The Opportunity
Central Petroleum are seeking an experienced Planning and Scheduling professional to lead the end to end planning and scheduling maintenance activities across their operational sites that aligns to long-term maintenance strategy and approved budgets.
Essential to this role includes the safe execution of activities outlined in the plans including resourcing requirements. The position owns the CMMS and P6 scheduling data while also providing functional support to the on-site planners. Based in their Brisbane corporate office, you will enjoy the autonomy and accountability of driving the maintenance planning and scheduling for all of their major assets, which involves three major shutdowns per year.
Key Responsibilities Accurately forecast monthly activities related to planned maintenance Manage shutdowns/overhauls within the approved budget and any out of budget expenses are appropriately flagged for approval Estimating costs and identifying opportunities to improve cost performance Prepare reports for planning, schedule and cost as required in the planning phase Coordinate the engagement with the relevant contractors to assist in the execution of work as identified through the planning process Assist with investigating and analysing plant failures Collect and analyse statistical data on the maintenance of all plant Lead the development of long term (12 month +) overhaul/shutdown schedules Developing and facilitating the work pack review process for shutdowns and major maintenance Scoping work and developing work orders for major work activities in the CMMS Qualifications & Experience Ideally have gained approximately 10+ years in a maintenance planner role (or similar) A relevant Engineering qualification or trade certificate or equivalent skills and knowledge Extensive knowledge and experience oil and gas industry and reciprocating compressors Demonstrated ability to undertake long and short-term planning for scheduled maintenance Competent in the use of computerised maintenance systems, maintenance/spare parts management A high level of competency in the use of computer-based scheduling programs (Primavera P6) How to Apply?
