About the role As Resource Recovery Employee (Driver) you will be part of the Ipswich Waste Services team, and responsible for the collection, recovery and disposal of domestic, commercial and other waste.
Delivering an essential service to customers, we offer stability and a friendly working environment to our employees while providing reliability to our customers.
You will work with a safe, modern and reliable fleet operating a variety of vehicles, plant and equipment to provide: Collection, recovery, re-use and/or recycling of resources Collection and disposal of waste Delivery, repair and replacement of council mobile garbage bins View the position description for more details about the role.
About you To be successful in this role you will have: HR Class licence or higher or ability to obtain Pride in your safe driving skills A passion for a clean and sustainable Ipswich into the future Pre-employment checks will include a medical (Including drug and alcohol testing) and possibly a driving assessment.
