The Resource Readiness Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of a range of fleet and equipment operational resources to ensure the efficient delivery of operational services within the region. The position effectively coordinates logistical operations and plays an important role in the development, implementation and maintenance of a range of fleet and equipment systems and processes.

The Resource Readiness Coordinator provides advice to key stakeholders regarding operational readiness and develops strategies for optimising resource management to improve patient safety outcomes and achieve organisational objectives.
Assist with the preparation of budgets for fleet and equipment maintenance and prepare and monitor cash flows. Communicate with Officers in Charge (OlCs) to ensure that vehicle and equipment needs are being met. Liaise with external repair/maintenance providers and undertake quality control auditing. Prepare, specify and monitor regional Standing Offer Arrangements for the provision of external maintenance services and contracts for vehicles and equipment. Provide technical fleet and equipment advice to the Statewide Equipment and Vehicle Committee, external providers and operational ambulance staff. Maintain purchasing, maintenance warranty and disposal records both written and electronic for vehicles and equipment to enable whole of life costing of the fleet, including data entry to the Total Asset Management System (TAMS). Provide efficient and effective processing of all motor vehicle accident claims and investigations as required. Coordinate and oversee purchases of fuel supplies for the provision of fuel cards. Provide specialist advice to minimise any adverse impact on the operational effectiveness of fleet and equipment. Manage a proactive program for the delivery, maintenance and disposal of all vehicles and associated equipment. Assist with the implementation of built infrastructure requirements to meet changing operational demands. Assist in maintaining secure, effective systems for facility security, including ID cards, electronic access hierarchy, key access etc. Manage and coordinate projects as required, including research and analysis, data compilation and report writing. Assist with the implementation and management of systems and processes for the coordination of assets. Contribute to the development, review and evaluation of policies and procedures relating to vehicles, facilities management, property and assets. Establish and maintain appropriate information management systems. Develop and maintain appropriate networks and foster effective working relationships with key stakeholders. As a leader, actively demonstrate and promote the QAS's approach of zero tolerance towards violence and commit to supporting those affected by domestic and family violence in accordance with QAS policies and mechanisms. Model and influence a workplace culture of gender equality, respectful relationships, diversity, inclusion, employee safety and support. Fulfil the responsibilities of this role in accordance with Queensland Public Sector and QAS values. The following mandatory requirements, special conditions and/or other requirements apply to this role:  The incumbent will be required to travel on official business and the possession of a C class driver's licence will be required. Whilst not mandatory, an Automotive Trade qualification or similar and a current Queensland Driver's Licence to National Rigid Licence Level (LR, MR or HR) will be highly regarded. Applications to remain current for 12 months.
