We're looking for A dynamic Resource Planner to join our vibrant Driver and Vehicle Services team. In this role you will use your expert planning skills to produce forecasts and schedules for the allocation of resources across a wide range of the Driver and Vehicle Services (DVS) business areas, including for the Main Roads Centre, DVS Customer Contact Centre, multiple DVS Business Centres and Practical Driving Assessments (PDA).
The successful applicant will manage the development of forecasts and schedules through internal systems and communicate with key stakeholders, whilst maintaining accurate records and position of business requirements. Your ability to use relevant software to effectively forecast, schedule and monitor real-time performance, will be crucial to succeed in the role. The ideal candidate must be highly competent at managing and prioritizing a busy workload.

We need someone who can Demonstrate a passion for workforce planning Communicate positively and effectively with a broad range of people Utilise workforce planning software and technology Display excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Effectively manage workloads and conflicting priorities Successful applicants will be required to provide a satisfactory National Police check.

This is a pool recruitment process; we use recruitment pools to build a bank of talent who we feel might be suited to future opportunities within the Department of Transport. You may join us on a full-time, part-time, fixed term or permanent basis; however, an appointment is not guaranteed. This pool process can be used to fill other part-time and full-time positions that may arise over the next twelve months. The recruitment pool will remain open for a period of twelve (12) months from the date of first appointment.
