As Australia's multi-disciplinary advisory and business partner of choice for clients in Defence, Government and infrastructure, we deliver complex things that matter. The Resource Manager is to proactively partner with our Advisory and Technical business unit to ensure effective allocation of resources to meet business demand. The Resource Manager is responsible for understanding resourcing requirements and providing sourcing strategies that align the right talent with the right roles to enhance engagement success, optimise profitability and meet customer needs.

To succeed in this endeavour, you will:

Lead the development and implementation of a workforce plan that aligns with the business units' goals and DPS' Strategic Workforce Plan. Plan and deliver optimal allocation of DPS consulting team members to projects across the business unit; inclusive of all sourcing channels such as new hires, current workforce and subcontractor utilisation. Maintain constant communication with your business unit to monitor day-to-day project activities and corresponding workforce movements. Partner with Hiring Managers to understand their resourcing needs and ensure that they are met in a timely and efficient manner. Liaise with the SI&CS Talent Acquisition team and oversee the recruitment process, ensuring that we attract the right candidates for the business. Lead sourcing strategies across all workforce requirements in the business unit from bids, project renewals and single vacancies. A real endeavour, driven by you
Our work is highly complex and confidential, so there are some things you must have to fulfil this role:

Tertiary qualifications in Business, Human Resources or a related field (desirable). Experience collaborating with, advising and influencing senior stakeholders to implement resourcing strategies to meet customer needs. Exceptional relationship management and interpersonal skills Strong organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to collaborate with all levels of professionals, including effective management of stakeholder expectations More than anything, you'll bring a strong work ethic, a positive attitude and a drive to manage critical projects and programs that build sovereign capability and deliver complex things that matter.
