Blue Dog Training, an Australian owned Registered Training Organisation, is well respected and recognised as Australia's largest provider of construction and engineering training.
We are seeking an experienced Resource Developer to: Develop, write and review training and assessment resources to meet training package requirements (including presentations, manuals, guides, assessments, together with mapping and validation of training assessment strategies), working closely with construction subject matter experts (Trainers and Assessors).
Attend work sites to obtain photos and video content to support the development of learning resources.
Develop competency mapping tools (to demonstrate compliance with relevant Training Packages, AQF requirements and ASQA standards).
Participate in compliance processes as required (including assisting with internal audits, record management and associated tasks).
You will work with an established team of very successful trainers (all experienced tradespeople) that share a passion for passing on their skills to the next generation.
To be considered for this opportunity, you should demonstrate: Experience developing and reviewing training and assessment materials for units of competency (experience in resource writing for online and distance delivery preferred).
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116).
Ideally an understanding of VET (vocational education and training) compliance.
Eligibility to obtain Working with Children Suitability Card (Blue Card).
Strong attention to detail to ensure resources are compliant with statutory, regulatory and contractual obligations and requirements.
Competent using MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook with confidence learning and using new technology and software.

This is a permanent full-time role and Blue Dog Training offers the option of working your hours across a 9 day fortnight (allowing you to take an RDO every second week) or a 4.5 day week.
